May 2025: Monthly Recap 📈

Sharing monthly performance updates.

Hello, my friend!

Time for another monthly recap—can you believe how fast May flew by? 😅

My European workation is wrapping up in just a few days, and I’ll be heading back to Canada soon. 🍁✈️

Over the past few weeks, I’ve:

  • Explored Warsaw, Poland

  • Stayed in Batumi, Georgia

  • Soaked in seaside sunsets and sunrises

  • Totally fallen in love with Georgian food

…all while staying online 💻 and continuing to support my amazing clients! 🙌

On my online business side, I’ve started working on a full refresh of my website—both the user interface design and the backend.

I even had a recent photoshoot 📸 that’ll be part of my new website design. The goal is to have everything updated by the end of the year.

Nowadays, with the help of a developer, I’m sorting out some tech issues behind the scenes. Meanwhile, I’ll be slowly working on a new copy, a better layout, and updated service pages.

It’s going to be so worth it! 🚀

Fun fact: I haven’t touched my website design until it started making four figures a month.

In just the first 5 months of 2025, it’s already brought in over $10,000. So now, it definitely feels like the right time to invest in growing it even more.

Speaking of earnings...

Here’s a breakdown of my website income from May, along with a few big updates. 👇

Crushing website goals 🚀

Remember how I shared my April earnings? That was $4,465.53, just from affiliate marketing! 💰

P.S. If you’re a Premium member, you can check out all affiliate reports here. You must be logged in with your email address to read it.

But for now, here’s a quick update on how May went.

✅ Total earnings: $2,211.35
✅ Made $604 from brand sponsorships
✅ In the process of partnering with a new brand —Keywordly

You probably noticed that I made almost twice as much in April compared to May, and there’s a good reason for that.

In April, I got a nice performance bonus from one of my partners, plus an extra $1,600 from sales that didn’t show up in my usual monthly affiliate income.

Even though my May income was lower, I still hit my monthly goal of $1,800 from my website.

That means I’ve already passed the halfway mark toward my yearly goal of $20,000+ from my site, which feels pretty great!

One more big update! 🚀

Below, you can see my chart from Google Search Console with organic traffic stats for the past three months.

This upward trend in traffic and impressions is an impact of my SEO content strategy that I’ve been implementing since the beginning of 2025. 📈💪

In short, I’ve been focusing on money-making keywords with decent search traffic potential and low/medium competition level.

These are the keywords my website can realistically rank for and achieve top positions in organic search results. If you are curious to learn more about my approach to SEO, I share it in detail in my SEO ebook.

What I worked on in May

Besides helping my clients with SEO and content writing, I’ve also been busy creating high-quality content for my website.

✅ Repurposed my existing posts and published a new one reviewing MailerLite alternatives. This is a pretty juicy keyword for affiliate marketing, since all the previously published similar posts started making money within a month after publication.

P.S. My Mailchimp alternatives post that I published in April has already made me $400 in sponsorships in May. So, these types of keywords work really well!

✅ Published a deep dive on 6 Moz alternatives, where I share my go-to SEO tools. This one’s also ranking #4 for “Moz alternatives.” Just like the MailerLite post, it’s built to earn affiliate income, and I’ve got a good feeling it’ll deliver. I’ll keep you posted! 👀📈

✅ I’ve also written and published a sponsored post on Keyword clustering tools. This one is pretty in-depth and reflects my true opinion about keyword clustering tools. It’s live for a few days only, but I can already see it ranking in the 37th position for the target keyword.

As always, every piece I publish helps me move closer to my business goals. You can see my Q2 content calendar below. I’m a bit behind my schedule, though, but I’ll try to catch up in June.
