Hello, {{ first name | my friend}}!
How are you doing? 😊
March was one of those months where I felt stretched thin… but somehow still managed to hit a few milestones I’m really proud of.
Here's a quick look at some of the highlights:
My website generated over $4,000 in affiliate and partnership earnings. (A detailed affiliate report is coming soon!)
Over $3,700 worth of collaborations are currently in the signing stage.
An exciting collaboration with a well-known SEO tool company is coming in April — stay tuned, it's worth it. 👀
I'll be sharing exclusive AI marketing insights from Neil Patel's conference. (More on that below)
Tested both Semrush MCP and beehiiv MCP connections with Claude. (More on that below because this is where things get really interesting)
And all of that while managing my full-time job, where one of my main goals right now is process automation. I made solid progress there, but I still haven't had the time to fully figure out how to apply it to my website.
That's exactly why I've been experimenting with Claude so much lately.
What I did with Claude in March 🤖
In March, I purchased an annual Claude subscription and got to work.
Here's what I set up:
A Claude project for every money-making page on my website
Claude connected to Semrush
Claude connected to beehiiv (my newsletter platform)
Claude connected to my Google Search Console account (still in progress)
A trained writing skill so Claude can actually mimic my writing style
Automated Reddit and LinkedIn activity through Claude
The ultimate goal is to automate my website workflows so that, as a one-person operation, I can handle everything from start to finish:
Strategy → Content plan → Monthly content creation → Money-making content updates → Repurposing website content for LinkedIn → Repurposing website content for Reddit
More updates on this as I go. 🙌
Testing beehiiv MCP
Speaking of repurposing content…
In March, I got the chance to be among the first users to test beehiiv MCP.
You may know I've been using beehiiv to power this newsletter since January 2024. The team has done an incredible job shipping new features to help creators grow and monetize, and this time, they went even further.
Once you connect beehiiv to your preferred LLM (Claude, in my case), your AI can pull your real subscriber data, post performance, earnings, and acquisition sources, and then analyze it all through a simple conversation.
That means you can ask questions like:
Which posts brought in the most subscribers?
What content is driving the most revenue?
Where are my best subscribers coming from?
What should I double down on next?
Pretty powerful stuff. I wrote more about it in my full beehiiv review if you want the details. 👇

New subreddit: Behind the Rankings
I also launched a new subreddit with the same name as my newsletter to keep the branding consistent: Behind the Rankings.
The idea is simple:
I’ll repurpose some of my tool reviews and SEO content there, with the goal of:
building another content distribution channel
linking back to my website naturally
and potentially ranking in search for related keywords over time
I’m planning to post there weekly.
If you want to join, ask questions about tools, or share what’s working for you, I’d love to see you there. 🙌

Google March 2026 core update
On March 27, 2026, Google announced its latest Core Update.
If you’ve been in SEO long enough, you already know the drill: some sites win, some sites panic, and everyone starts refreshing Search Console a little too often. 😅
I’ll keep an eye on how this one plays out and share anything interesting if I notice meaningful shifts.
If you want to understand how core updates work (straight from Google), here’s the official documentation:

Getting ready to meet Neil Patel in April 🎤
In April, I'll be attending Neil Patel's Full Circle AI Marketing conference here in Toronto.
It’s focused on AI marketing, and I’m especially curious to hear how marketers are actually using AI in real workflows, not just the usual surface-level “AI is changing everything” talk.
Just like I did with SEO IRL 2025, I'll collect all the key insights and share them with you right here.
So if you can’t attend, don’t worry — I’ll bring the best parts back here. So stay tuned for that!

What you missed in March
I have planned a lot for 2026, including some pretty ambitious 💰 goals, and I can’t wait to share the journey with you. 😉
My February affiliate report is out! Here's an honest look at how my website made $2,892.46 in February 2026 (March 2026 affiliate report is coming soon, where I’ll show how my site made over $4k)
I spent months testing AI visibility tools so you don’t have to. 😅
Have you tried any tools for tracking AI search visibility yet?
I shared my honest thoughts on Search Atlas, another AI SEO platform I've been testing this month.
My Affiliate Revenue Hub👋
💰 My website earned $45,455.28 in 2025, to be precise — all from affiliate commissions and brand partnerships.
My goal is to hit $100k by the end of 2026.
