The impact of one quality backlink 🔗

Yep, I know many SEO experts claim that backlinks are everything when it comes to rankings.

But honestly, I see things a little differently. 🙃

Even if you boost your website’s domain authority with backlinks and your site starts ranking higher in search results, ultimately, it will depend on the content whether your site stays on top for years or slowly fades away into the Google void. 🚀📉

And when I say “content,” I’m talking about stuff like:

✅ Does your content match user search intent?
✅ If your content aligns with your website niche
✅ Do users stick around and engage with it?

The way people interact with your content is a big deal when it comes to staying at the top of search results. 📊💡

That’s why I’ve always been a big believer in creating high-quality, well-optimized content. Not just for rankings but for results.

In times when everyone says “SEO is dead,” my SEO approach helps me make $4,000 from my website in April and generate over 15,000 monthly visitors.

But wait... what about backlinks? Aren’t they still a big deal? 🤔

People can now flood a site with low-quality backlinks and try to game the system. 🙄 It’s super common... but not exactly the smartest long-term move.

For example, my site has only 528 referring domains and 1.8k backlinks, according to Semrush. And it performs quite well! 😉

Most SEOs would probably say it’s no big deal. 😅

But I didn’t build those backlinks the usual way. I used a different approach to get high-quality links.

Just a few days ago, this exact strategy got me a free backlink from Ahrefs—yep, the one with a 91/100 domain authority. 💥🚀
