š March wrap-up: My goals, projects & affiliate update
March is almost overāare you on track with your goals?
Hello, my friend! š
I hope you are doing well!
March is almost overāare you on track with your goals?
No worries if not, Iām trying to catch up, too!
Client projects have kept me busy with SEO and content writing, so my personal to-do list is running a little behind. š
Just yesterday, I had a call with Deepti, the founder of Indexly AIāa tool that helps speed up indexing on Google and Bing while helping you track your websiteās organic performance.
From my first trial until now, Iāve watched it evolve into a robust technical SEO tool for website performance tracking. š
I havenāt talked much about this collaboration, but Iāve been partnering with Indexly to spread the word about their SEO toolkit.
š Have you tried Indexly yet? Hit āReplyā and share your thoughts. I might even feature your insights on my website (with full credit, of course)!
P.S. I am negotiating a special one-time discount for my readers. Iāll hopefully be able to share it with you soon. So, stay tuned!

Deepti from Indexly and I are discussing the next steps in our collaboration.
Even with client work, Iāve been deep into writing a detailed comparison of Ahrefs vs. Semrush.
Itās going to be similar to my Semrush vs. Search Atlas post, but this time, Iām adding even more insightsābecause, fun fact, Iāve been using both tools since 2015. Thatās 10 years! š¤Æ
This piece is one of my last Q1 content goals for my site, all leading up to my big target: $20k in revenue this year.
So far, Iāve hit 20% of that goal!
I break down all the juicy details in my monthly affiliate reports. The March report is dropping soon, so make sure you upgrade to get access. š
Despite the keyword āAhrefs vs. Semrushā having tough competition in search results, Iām quite confident that my post has the potential to hit the Google front page, similar to how it happened with many other posts on my website.
Hereās why.
If you are doing SEO or just plan to do it, you might want to know this.
In 2025 and beyond, SEO and branding will go hand in hand.
Google isnāt just picking the ā10 bestā results anymoreāthereās too much content being published every day.
So, how does Google decide who gets to be seen?
It comes down to authority ā and thatās where your brand comes in.
Leigh McKenzie, Head of SEO at Backlinko, explains it well:
āA strong brand is your best defense.
If you donāt work on your brand, then your site ājustā exists on Google, waiting to get hit by another update.ā
Thatās exactly why Iām doubling down on my personal brand:
ā
Medium: 21K followers
ā
LinkedIn: 2.7K followers
ā
Reddit: 104 posts & comments karma (One of my first posts hit 21K views!)
I actually shared more about my Reddit marketing experiment in my Premium Case Study. Hereās a sneak peek. š

Whatās on Medium?
One of my top-performing Medium posts is about how AI-generated content performs on a healthy website.
No Medium subscription is needed with this link if you are a Premium member.
Whatās next?
Next week, Iāll be wrapping up March goals and prepping for Q2.
š° March earnings update: My site has already pulled in $1,800+ in affiliate & partnership income this month!
Iāll be putting together a detailed monthly report to share whatās working. All readers will get a quick breakdown, but Premium members get the full scoop on the exact affiliate programs Iām using.
For now, Iām doubling down on whatās working instead of joining new affiliate programs.
Plus, Iām looking for ways to collaborate even closer with my best-performing affiliate partnersāthis means better deals for my readers and higher returns. Win-win!
š„ SEO ebook update: While my designer finalizes the new design, Iāve put together a rough draft of the SEO ebook page.
The goal is to make this page even more informative to give readers a better idea of what they can expect when reading my SEO ebook.
Btw, you can still preorder my SEO ebook here.
š„ And when the 4th edition is out? Iāll email you a copy instantlyāno extra cost!

How did you like today's edition? |
Have a great weekend!
