šŸš€ March wrap-up: My goals, projects & affiliate update

March is almost overā€”are you on track with your goals?

Hello, my friend! šŸ‘‹

I hope you are doing well!

March is almost overā€”are you on track with your goals?

No worries if not, Iā€™m trying to catch up, too!

Client projects have kept me busy with SEO and content writing, so my personal to-do list is running a little behind. šŸ˜…

Just yesterday, I had a call with Deepti, the founder of Indexly AIā€”a tool that helps speed up indexing on Google and Bing while helping you track your websiteā€™s organic performance.

From my first trial until now, Iā€™ve watched it evolve into a robust technical SEO tool for website performance tracking. šŸ“ˆ

I havenā€™t talked much about this collaboration, but Iā€™ve been partnering with Indexly to spread the word about their SEO toolkit.

šŸ‘‰ Have you tried Indexly yet? Hit ā€œReplyā€ and share your thoughts. I might even feature your insights on my website (with full credit, of course)!

P.S. I am negotiating a special one-time discount for my readers. Iā€™ll hopefully be able to share it with you soon. So, stay tuned!

Deepti from Indexly and I are discussing the next steps in our collaboration.

Even with client work, Iā€™ve been deep into writing a detailed comparison of Ahrefs vs. Semrush.

Itā€™s going to be similar to my Semrush vs. Search Atlas post, but this time, Iā€™m adding even more insightsā€”because, fun fact, Iā€™ve been using both tools since 2015. Thatā€™s 10 years! šŸ¤Æ

This piece is one of my last Q1 content goals for my site, all leading up to my big target: $20k in revenue this year.

So far, Iā€™ve hit 20% of that goal!

I break down all the juicy details in my monthly affiliate reports. The March report is dropping soon, so make sure you upgrade to get access. šŸš€

Despite the keyword ā€œAhrefs vs. Semrushā€ having tough competition in search results, Iā€™m quite confident that my post has the potential to hit the Google front page, similar to how it happened with many other posts on my website.

Hereā€™s why.

If you are doing SEO or just plan to do it, you might want to know this.

In 2025 and beyond, SEO and branding will go hand in hand.

Google isnā€™t just picking the ā€œ10 bestā€ results anymoreā€”thereā€™s too much content being published every day.

So, how does Google decide who gets to be seen?

It comes down to authority ā€” and thatā€™s where your brand comes in.

Leigh McKenzie, Head of SEO at Backlinko, explains it well:

ā€œA strong brand is your best defense.

If you donā€™t work on your brand, then your site ā€œjustā€ exists on Google, waiting to get hit by another update.ā€

Leigh McKenzie, Head of SEO at Backlinko

Thatā€™s exactly why Iā€™m doubling down on my personal brand:

āœ… Medium: 21K followers
āœ… LinkedIn: 2.7K followers
āœ… Reddit: 104 posts & comments karma (One of my first posts hit 21K views!)

I actually shared more about my Reddit marketing experiment in my Premium Case Study. Hereā€™s a sneak peek. šŸ‘€

Whatā€™s on Medium?

One of my top-performing Medium posts is about how AI-generated content performs on a healthy website.

No Medium subscription is needed with this link if you are a Premium member.

Whatā€™s next?

Next week, Iā€™ll be wrapping up March goals and prepping for Q2.

šŸ’° March earnings update: My site has already pulled in $1,800+ in affiliate & partnership income this month!

Iā€™ll be putting together a detailed monthly report to share whatā€™s working. All readers will get a quick breakdown, but Premium members get the full scoop on the exact affiliate programs Iā€™m using.

For now, Iā€™m doubling down on whatā€™s working instead of joining new affiliate programs.

Plus, Iā€™m looking for ways to collaborate even closer with my best-performing affiliate partnersā€”this means better deals for my readers and higher returns. Win-win!

šŸ”„ SEO ebook update: While my designer finalizes the new design, Iā€™ve put together a rough draft of the SEO ebook page.

The goal is to make this page even more informative to give readers a better idea of what they can expect when reading my SEO ebook.

Btw, you can still preorder my SEO ebook here.

šŸ”„ And when the 4th edition is out? Iā€™ll email you a copy instantlyā€”no extra cost!
