March 2025: Monthly Recap 📈

Sharing monthly performance updates.

Hello, my friend!

Just like every month, my recap is here again! 📩

How was your month?

Any wins to share? 🎉

For me, March still felt like winter in Ontario. We had some snowy days, and honestly, I’m just waiting for the sunshine to kick in. ☀️❄️

But despite the cold, it was a solid month—plus, we’re wrapping up Q1 already! Crazy, right?

Here are some of my highlights:

✅ Finished all my website goals for Q1 (super proud of this!)
✅ Been working closely with beehiiv—love the brand, love the product!
✅ My website is this close to hitting 100 indexed pages (just 4 more to go!). A few years ago, I never thought I’d get here, mostly on my own!
✅ Made $2,094.10 from my site in March—up 1.23% from February! 💰
✅ Already hit over 20% of my $20k site revenue goal for the year. 🚀
✅ I came up with criteria for how I choose affiliate programs to boost $$$ (details soon!)
✅ Built a fresh website growth plan for Q2
✅ Revamped my SEO ebook, which will be out with a brand new design soon
✅ Started working on a new project to scale my online business

Now, for the not-so-great part... 😬

❌ I missed my newsletter growth & monetization targets
❌ Slowed down on Reddit

It’s funny how one or two "failures" can make all the wins feel smaller. Ever feel that way?

As a perfectionist (or at least that’s what I call myself), I have to remind myself to actually acknowledge my progress. I recommend doing the same!

If you’re putting in the work and creating something meaningful, you’re already ahead of so many people. 💡

Now, let’s dive into the full recap—it’s packed with insights!

Crushing website goals 🚀

Remember how I shared my February earnings? That was $2,068.57, just from affiliate marketing! 💰

P.S. If you’re a Premium member, you can check out the February affiliate marketing report here. You must be logged in with your email address to read it.

Now, let’s talk about March! The full deep-dive report will be available for my Premium members here, but here’s a quick summary:

✅ Total earnings: $2,094.10
✅ Made $907.83 from just one product
✅ Started prioritizing 3 affiliate partners with the highest commissions

On top of that, I made $176 from sponsorships —a nice little bonus! 🎉

Overall, my website income is growing, which tells me I’m doing something right with SEO and monetization. But it's not all smooth sailing.

Some affiliate partners take forever to pay and add unnecessary withdrawal conditions. 😤

For example, Frase.io, an SEO writing platform, won’t let you cash out unless you hit $100 and have at least two paying users. My site brings in one+ signup per day, yet they can’t convert users—and they’re not even responsive.

If users don’t want to pay for Frase, it probably means the product might not be good enough. Therefore, it’s my task to replace it with a better alternative!🔍

One more big update! 🚀

Google just wrapped up its March 2025 algorithm update.

How’s your website doing? 👀

Below, you can see my chart from Google Search Console with organic traffic stats for the past three months.

I love this trend and hope it keeps climbing! 📈💪

Here are a few thoughts about the Google algorithm update and what you can expect next.

Lately, I’ve noticed that creator-led content is climbing the ranks, while those big, old-school websites that relied on domain authority aren’t dominating like they used to.

And it looks like this shift is only getting stronger…

With the latest update, Google confirmed they’re making “a series of improvements” to surface more content from creators.

What does that mean?

More chances for people putting out great content to finally get the spotlight. So yeah, I’m doubling down on my SEO game.

If you’re a brand, now’s the time to be more open about who is actually creating your content and to think beyond SEO.

Because in 2025, branding and SEO go hand in hand.

Agree?
