How often you should post to grow & monetize your website 📈

If you launched a website, what was your motivation to do it? 🤔 

I believe that people have different motives for launching a website, but the ultimate goal is the same — to make money.

A lot of people imagine blogging as a fast track to big bucks.

But is it really easy money?

I don’t think so.

I’ve been writing on Medium and growing my site for almost four years!

In reality, most creators earn just pennies from their blogs, and it takes years to build a niche site to a point where you can take a step back without losing traffic or income.

Plus, the question isn’t really, “How often should I post to grow my site?”

The real answer?

It depends…

on your niche, writing skills, SEO knowledge, motivation, and the list goes on.

I’ve published around 70 blog posts on my website since summer 2022.

I know—it doesn’t sound like a lot.

But over 60% of my site’s pages bring in organic traffic every day and month, even if I’m not posting new content (data from Ahrefs).

Here’s the reality: I’ve only published 11 new articles this year.

Does that mean posting frequency doesn’t matter for a website’s growth?

Not quite.

Or that you’d see the same results if you published 70 posts?

Nope, not necessarily.

What it does show is the power of evergreen, optimized content—it's still driving steady traffic to my site.

And that traffic?

It's translating into income from affiliates and sponsorships.
