🚀How I kicked off March: my website, clients, SEO & more
March is here, which means Q1 is almost over! 😲
Hello, my friend!
How have you been lately? 😊
In my previous newsletter, I shared my February recap—everything I worked on, achieved, and learned.
It was a super productive month, and I’m hoping March will be just as good!
In today’s newsletter, I’ll give you a little peek into how I kicked off March and what’s keeping me busy—client work, my website, and more.
A quick update on my client work
I don’t talk about it much since most of my projects are under NDA, but here’s a little behind the scenes.
Besides my usual content writing tasks, I’ve been chatting with a client about a new project.
It’s not strictly SEO-related, but it could be a fun and interesting challenge!
For those of you who are new here, I offer SEO content services, mostly for SaaS and B2B companies. I used to cover a broader range of SEO services, but content is where my passion (and best results!) are.
So, if you’re looking for a content writer with a strong SEO background, let’s chat—we might be a great fit!
How do I find clients while focusing on my website?
Great question!
I’m a firm believer that results and achievements speak better than any resume.
The truth is, my website does the heavy lifting.
The results and case studies I share bring in new SEO content requests without me having to chase them.
I’ve never been a fan of the whole “fake it till you make it” mindset. Instead, I work with clients whose values align with mine and where I can genuinely add value.
That’s also how I balance client work with my own projects—I split my time 50-50.
Speaking of my own projects, here’s what else I worked on this week…
🚀 New product review just dropped on my site
This week, I got my hands on ContentShake AI by Semrush and put it to the test.
✅ What I liked:
It automates and speeds up content creation, which is super helpful for agencies handling multiple writers.
Runs on Semrush’s keyword data, so you can see if your topic has ranking potential.
Offers handy SEO and readability tips to help optimize your content.
❌ What could be better:
Uses OpenAI tech for content generation, and some responses feel a bit like ChatGPT.
I wouldn’t recommend publishing AI-generated content as-is. It definitely needs human editing.
Doesn’t always consider search intent, which is key for SEO-friendly content.
I learned a ton while testing it, and I shared even more insights in my full ContentShake AI review! Check it out. 🔗

March marks the end of the Q1
March is here, which means Q1 is almost over! 😲
Back in mid-December 2024, I set my business goals, and now it’s already March 2025. Time flies, doesn’t it? ⏳
I’m staying on track with my content goals for my website this quarter.
Other than wrapping up the last few posts, I also need to do some keyword research and map out my content plan for the next quarter.
I used to plan a whole year in advance (I still sell my 12-month content plan for companies 😉).
But for my own site, I’ve switched to quarterly planning. It gives me more flexibility and doesn’t take too much time.

Since I started treating my website like a real business in January 2024, here’s what I’ve achieved so far:
✅ Earned $3,274.16 in two months (I break down my income & affiliate programs in my monthly affiliate reports)
✅ Published 6 new blog posts
✅ Updated 8 older posts
✅ Created new site categories to better organize content: SEO tools, Creator tools, and How to grow a blog
These changes helped double my organic impressions in just three months and push my website earnings past $2K+ in February. 🚀

Now, here’s an interesting insight: Most of my revenue comes from just 2-3 articles!
Even though I optimize my content to drive sales, the Pareto principle is in full effect—20% of my content generates 80% of the results.
That just means there’s more work to do:
🔹 Publishing more content
🔹 Reducing risks (in case traffic shifts)
🔹 Keeping my top-performing pages ranking high
If you're working on growing your website, how’s it going for you lately?
Would love to hear about your progress! 😊
