August 2024: Monthly Recap 📈

Autumn is just around the corner.

This means we're bidding farewell to summer in a few days.

Let me share what happened to my online business this month. 👇️ 

You might know that I paused many of my projects since June 2024.

Even though I have a strong passion for every project I manage, my ultimate goal has always been to work less without compromising my quality of life.

Therefore, I decided to focus on client work and keep some of my projects running on the side.

The outcome?

1. August has been my third-best month in terms of income this year

2. I create optimized content for Copilot to bring more relevant traffic to their website. Guess what? We’ll expand our partnership in September. 🚀

3. I’ve been invited to become a guest lecturer and record an SEO writing masterclass. Stay tuned for more details! 😉 

4. I’ve got several brand sponsorship requests with the highest paycheck of $500 for a brand mention on my website. More on how to create such content in my SEO ebook.

5. I’m close to making $600 from just 2 stories on Medium in August

6. I’ve got 22 applications for the blog post writer position. I’ve already reviewed them and will get in touch with a few candidates in early September.

Most importantly…

I only work on high-impact projects, have less anxiety, and have more free time for fun at the end of the month.

This month, I’ve met with a fellow content creator and an absolute expert in automations — Tina Lopez.

We connected on Medium last year and have finally met in person in Toronto! 🤩 

My highlight of this summer: less is actually more!

Doing fewer tasks that aren’t important frees up my time to disconnect from digital work, feel present at the moment, and do things that fuel me with energy, such as morning reading in a garden.
