Hello, {{ first name | my friend}}!
How was your week? 😊
On April 8, I went to the Full Circle AI Marketing conference in Toronto, hosted by NP Digital, the agency founded by Neil Patel.
To be honest, his talk was the main reason I went. 🎤
I’ve been learning from Neil Patel since my early days in marketing, and I can confidently say his SEO perspective has influenced how I think about search engine everywhere optimization today.

This was the second biggest marketing event I’ve attended in the past two years, after SEO IRL 2025. If you’ve attended both, like I have, you could quickly spot the difference. SEO IRL was very focused on SEO tactics, while Full Circle was more about conversations around AI marketing and where things are going.
My biggest takeaway is that no one really knows the right way to use AI yet. We are still early. Most speakers shared ideas and opinions rather than clear step-by-step guides.
However, we can all agree that AI gives us the ability to do more with fewer resources.
That’s actually why I didn’t spend hours writing this recap. I asked Claude to turn my messy handwritten notes into something readable and help me put this post together.
Because if there’s one thing the conference taught us, it’s this — be creative. 🎨
Google March 2026 Core Update — it’s officially done ✅
On April 8, Google wrapped up the rollout of its March 2026 core update.
Here’s how Google explains it: 👇
“Core updates are designed to ensure that overall, we're delivering on our mission to present helpful and reliable results for searchers. These changes are broad in nature, and don't target specific sites or individual web pages. As content on the web changes, we assess and update our systems to keep pace, as a whole.”

I actually think this update finally closed the chapter on the December 2025 update. Since then, we’ve been riding crazy daily ranking volatility… and it only started to calm down around March 18 (based on Semrush Sensor data).
As you can see below, the rankings volatility is just 2.1/10, which means that the SERP has finally become stable!

However, it hasn’t been an easy ride.
A lot of sites got hit, and not many seem to have fully recovered (yet). But on my end, I’m starting to notice some positive signals on my website: 📈
Impressions are going up
Average positions are slowly improving
What’s interesting is that this is happening even though:
I’ve never used AI-generated content
My content aligns with EEAT
I’ve been actively building social presence to support authority and first-hand experience
So… something is shifting.
I believe it might have something to do with how much the SERP layout has changed lately, since there’s just way less space for organic listings now.

Source: GSC. My website performance change.
Even though I believe this shift has to do with AI, I asked Claude, my AI assistant, which now knows more about me and my online business than my partner, about potential reasons.
Here’s how Claude interpreted my website’s shift in performance, and honestly, I’m not surprised — let’s blame AI Overviews. 😄
Have you noticed any positive changes since the rollout finished?

My SEO ebook just got a price drop 👇
Last year, I sold this ebook for $32.99. So I'm dropping the price to $9.99.
